img_9875(2)Wilmington yoga and meditation teacher Amanda Hutcheson (E-RYT 200) was introduced to community yoga in 2009 and was immediately hooked. The focus on ahimsa and on honoring one’s body and working with it, instead of against it, were especially appealing to her, as she worked through her own injuries. Since completing yoga teacher training in 2016, she has continued to expand her knowledge of yoga with a focus on accessibility and modifications. 2017-05-28 102706-2832465

Amanda’s core belief is that everyone can do – and benefit from – yoga. Her classes focus on making yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of experience or fitness level, while fostering a deeper mind-body-breath connection. Her yoga classes are also informed by her regular personal meditation practice, a practice she also loves to share.

Since the onset of COVID-19, she has been offering group and private lessons live using Zoom (registration required).
